On the left is an early class of students. Note the uniforms with bib and apron. These were replaced with an all-white uniform.
On the right is a demonstration of how NOT to give an enema! Some of the Fundamentals classes were fun!

Graduate Nurse Pin
This is what all the hard work was for, this and the diploma. After passing boards you had the right to use the letters R.N. after your name. The pin was the most visible symbol of graduation. This was the reward for 3 hard years of sweat and toil.

In the center of the pin is printed the year of graduation. On the reverse side the graduate's name is engraved, with the school motto: "Deo Per Homines Sevire" which means "To serve God through Man."
