Congratulations to the class of 1966 on their 50th Anniversary of Graduation!
Date for next annual luncheon: April 29, 2017. Save this date!
The Memorial Scholarship of $1,000.00 is available to pursue one’s education in the Health Care field, including tuition & books. Alumni members or children of Alumni are eligible to apply. Alumni may donate directly to the scholarship fund at the time of paying dues by designating on the check that the amount in excess of dues is for the scholarship fund.
Summer 2009, all memorabilia donated from alumnae members were taken to the Virgina Historical Society. Pictures were taken of the donations. Fall 2009, the Stuart Circle pediatric crib was taken to the Valentine History Center. Hopefully all of the histories and pictures of the donations can be made into a booklet. If you have memorabilia you would like to donate to the display, please bring to the luncheon or send to an alumni association officer.

Alumni Deaths, 2015-2016
Dale Long Nicklas, Class 1961, succumbed to pancreatic cancer on November 29, 2015. She spent her entire career in nursing and proud to
have graduated from Stuart Circle Hospital School of Nursing. She loved all aspects of nursing and especially enjoyed education. She taught
many students in the SCH school of Nursing. After her retirement, she moved to Overland Park, Kansas and finally Bartlett, TN to be closer to her daughter, Noel Nicklas Emswiler. Dale enjoyed long friendships with both classmates and students from SCH and her family is appreciative of their love and support during her illness.
Gwendolyn Delores Long - 6/24/1950 – 8/7/2014 Class of 1971. She was born in Chase City, Va. June 24, 1950 to the late Howard and Christine Ghee-Long. She completed her nursing education at Stuart Circle Hospital and VCU School of Nursing. She was employed at VCU, Central State Hospital, and retired as a travelling nurse.

Linda Berry Kitchen. Class 1968. Husband died December 2015.

Eddie, in January, 2016.
